Nestled deep in nature, Wild Wonder is a small, charming nature-filled theme park containing dense forests, an island with an old windmill, canyons and waterfalls. This plot of land was purchased deep in the wilderness and was once the center of a large development project intended to make the region suitable for future settlement. Due to concerns over the desecration of the region’s natural beauty, the project was abandoned, but not before the construction of a network of bridges, a lumber mill, and a large prairie-style mansion built for but never used by the company’s eccentric owner, now fully restored and home to a dark ride through its strange interior spaces (use cutaway to look inside).

Having saved a tremendous amount of money by reusing the existing infrastructure, the new owners decided to bet on a massive B&M Hyper Coaster named GAIA, for the Greek goddess of Earth. In keeping with the park’s commitment to respecting nature, the engineers repurposed the abandoned lumber mill for the coaster station. Unfortunately (or fortunately), due to some building limitations, after your ride on GAIA, you will need to use a ladder to get down from the station (but have no fear, there’s an elevator for our peeps with disabilities).

The park also includes a beautiful garden, a greenhouse, several fun flat rides, a jungle cruise, an observation tower, and a junior coaster called Fortuna (for those unwilling to brave the massive GAIA!)
